I was inspired by the Gowanus Lounge blog (http://www.gowanuslounge.blogspot.com) to take some photos of some of the changes in my neighborhood. This building occupies the spot where an odd ramshackle house once stood. It's most distinctive feature was the front "door" that extended out from the main house. Over the door was a ratty looking mounted deer head w. antlers and an old-fashioned red X-mas bulb shoved in the place where it's nose should have been. The kid that lived in the house ran over a stray kitten with his bike. Don't know what happened to the kid, but this building is a definite improvement though surrounded by confusion!

This public fórum, held on 23 April 2018 in Maputo, shared the results of the report on the business landscape for Mozambican manufacturing firms.

The event shed light on the current challenges faced by micro-, small- and medium-sized firms in the country’s manufacturing sector — and how policy can tackle these issues to allow firms to thrive. Special attention was paid to the business environment in which these enterprises operate.

Test run of a macro subject taken indoors with two desk lamps - exposed from 1s-9s @ f8-32(normalised to current temps with the Massive dev-chart app on the iPhone). These rolls were the first to be developed using guidance from www.rogerandfrances.com with their excellent advice on reduing fixing time with the spot-test (now down to 2-min fix) and using COLD water for washing to prevent emulsion scratching on final squeegee.

30s presoak in COLD tap-water, NO distilled water as Stourport tapwater is just fine (although remembering Roger & Francis advice to use filtered water for final wash when I move to hard-water Malvern). No stop-bath, just swill out twice with cold tap-water.

The changing nature of international development has created a growing interest in the use of development finance instruments. As the availability of soft grant money decreases and acceptance of private-sector-led growth increases, development policy is shifting away from official development assistance to focus more on investment and trade. In this context, the U.S. government must use its development finance instruments more effectively. For more go to csis.org/event/sharing-risk-world-dangers-and-opportuniti...

At long last, the canal path by the New Bridge End Inn social housing development has been reopened!

This section of the path has been closed since early last year, due to the uncertain status of a gas mains pipe adjacent to it.

I asked my wife to take pictures of me and this is the result.

The Olympus 35SP has a very bright and precise RF patch, but she managed to work around that as well. On the other hand, I'm a bad model.
