The main road outside Paraiso is a strong contrast to the neighborhood just around the bus station. Some very nice looking new housing right across the pedestrian bridge (which goes over the swamp) from the bus station.

The WB EDIF, funded by the European Union, aims at improving access to finance for small and medium-sized enterprises in the region through a variety of instruments, and by blending financing with technical assistance. This event was the third WB EDIF event hosted in the Western Balkans and provided an opportunity for participants to address key challenges and build on the productive collaboration and dialogue of stakeholders.

In 1987, Asociación Pro-Hogar Permanente de Parálisis Cerebral (APC) was awarded a five-year grant of $241,310 to develop a facility employing 45 individuals and providing vocational training to another 70. At the time, APC was the only independent living facility for the cerebral palsied in El Salvador.

At the Community Activity Center on Camp Casey May 29, civilians and Soldiers of the U.S. Army Garrison Red Cloud and Area I attend a professional development session geared especially to those in leadership positions. The audience of 145 leaders heard briefings on a range of topics that included customer service, mentoring subordinates, administrative and maintenance matters, and leadership itself. Speakers included Col. John M. Scott, Commander, USAG Red Cloud and Area I, and other garrison officials. The afternoon was capped by an indoor supper of hot dogs and hamburgers.

The development is along the west side of Market Street where it becomes Branciforte at Goss Street.
These photos show Market, Branciforte, Goss and Isbel streets near the proposed development. Plans show the addition of 5 foot bike lanes on both sides of Market south of Goss, though for northbound Market the bike lane becomes a right turn only lane.
Parallel parking will also be added to Market and B40 along the development -- presumably to benefit the residents.
