This little Timneh African Grey (TAG) rules his world. It is amazing to watch him develope and grow and learn. He's smart and very sweet. He gives me kisses...complete with sound. He wieghs in at a about 280 grams or 10 ounces. Congo African Greys (CAG) average about 16 ounces (1#) or about 450 grams. The closer to the coastline of western Africa, the lighter the birds become. And, of course, the further inland... the darker they become. The TAG has a bone colored upper beak, maroon colored tail feathers and is darker grey than the CAG. The CAG has bright red tail feathers and is much lighter grey than the TAG cousin.
Both types of African Greys have been known to live more than 80 years. They're said to have the intelligence of a 5 year old child and the emotional stability of a two-year-old toddler.

In the mid-seventies, Zastava management decided to develope a new model, still based on the same Fiat engine. It was originally to be known as Zastava 102, but the name was dropped in 1981 and the car released as Yugo 45. Styled by Zastava with input from Fiat engineers and with an updated body based on the Fiat 127 with some influece from the Fiat 128. Later in the 1980s, Yugo was exported to USA and at the same time it went through several modifications, during this period Zatsava changed its branding name to Yugo and derivative models were renamed

Before I sell this guy, I thought I would share some pictures.
The 2707-200 was the winner of a government subsidized program to develope an SST to compete with the Concorde. It would carry over 300 passengers, and fly at Mach 3. This version features variable sweep wings, however, the weight penalty was considered to be to great. The added complexity didn't help either, so the design was changed to feature a double-delta wing that would still allow for a slow takeoff and landing speed, as well as supersonic cruise. For several reasons, the program was canceled before anything besides a mockup was built.
This model was made from resin, in the 1960s, probably either by PacMin, or inhouse at Boeing. No, there is no sticker at the bottom of the base. Being 1/100 scale, it is 3 feet long, and is molded in the supersonic configuration. Unfortunately, in its earlier life, 20+ years ago, someone must have pushed it off the table, because the tip of the nose was broken off. Also, because of its age, some of the decals are coming up. I was going to restore the model, however, I was told that it will lower its value. If anyone has any more info about this model, not the aircraft, please let me know.

The mirror is broke, Im thinking I should get it fixed. I carried this with me lots of places, it was used on yearbook staff for the two years I was on it, I used it in my first photography class as a jr. In high school. It felt very natural that the entire thing was manual, I cared so much about each picture I had taken. I was always so excited to develope my own roll in class or could hardly wait for it to be developed.
