These views of Buckley Island in the Ohio River at Marietta Ohio and Williamstown West Virginia, on 05 Oct 2019. A few trees on the Island are beginning to develope a little Autumn color . These riverscapes were taken on the West Virginia side of the river from the River View Walking Trails at the Ohio River Islands National Wildlife Refuge.

BMW M1 (1978-81) The M1 was originally built by Lamborghini in an agreement with BMW to develope a racing car that could also be marketed to the public. and became the only mid-engined mass produced BMW. The body was styled by Giugiaro in Italy. The engine a twin-cam M88/1 3.5 ltr. 6 cylinder with Kugelfischler fuel injection was used in a South African version of the 1984-85 BMW 745 (209 units), the E24 M6 and M635CSi and the E28 M5.. The street version of the M1 gave 273 bhp and a top end of 160 mph while the Turbo racers got 850 bhp, Total production of 456. In racing the M1 won the Group championship in 1984 and the Procar BMW M1 series supported Formula One 1979 + 1980 driven by the current grand prix drivers. Before I sell this guy, I thought I would share some pictures.
The 2707-200 was the winner of a government subsidized program to develope an SST to compete with the Concorde. It would carry over 300 passengers, and fly at Mach 3. This version features variable sweep wings, however, the weight penalty was considered to be to great. The added complexity didn't help either, so the design was changed to feature a double-delta wing that would still allow for a slow takeoff and landing speed, as well as supersonic cruise. For several reasons, the program was canceled before anything besides a mockup was built.
This model was made from resin, in the 1960s, probably either by PacMin, or inhouse at Boeing. No, there is no sticker at the bottom of the base. Being 1/100 scale, it is 3 feet long, and is molded in the supersonic configuration. Unfortunately, in its earlier life, 20+ years ago, someone must have pushed it off the table, because the tip of the nose was broken off. Also, because of its age, some of the decals are coming up. I was going to restore the model, however, I was told that it will lower its value. If anyone has any more info about this model, not the aircraft, please let me know.

Male Chum Salmon, also known as Dog Salmon (Oncorhynchus keta), develope teeth during their spawning run. These Salmon were prevented from going upstream by a net that was the boundry of a fish hatchery. As a result, Salmon would pool against the net, roiling the water, until the net was lifted allowing them to pass. I dare say there were thousands of fish against this net.

Finally got round to getting the table tennis out for the boys. It looks like it could become a regular event! They soon learned it's not all about wacking it as hard as you can. In this game you have to develope your skills with a delicate touch to begin with.

Yea I got bored so I threw this togother. I think it looks pretty cool, I'm actually very found of it. I've been trying to develope a bounty hunter called ghost but he will be completely white and have an.....interesting history.
