Pacific Women aims to develop and deliver evidence-based activities that contribute to the advancement of gender equality in the region. To do this strategically, Pacific Women undertakes targeted activities that help to define the direction of the program, called ‘direction-setting activities’. These include planning, evaluation and research activities that inform program activities supported by Pacific Women.
Direction-setting activities include Country Plan review activities. Country Plans are the mechanism through which Pacific Women activities are planned and agreed between DFAT and counterpart governments. Country Plans are developed to cover a three to four-year period and are informed by extensive national consultations. They provide detail on activities to be funded and how funding decisions are made. Country Plan Summaries can be downloaded from the Pacific Women website.
Teams from the Support Unit and Australian High Commission Posts engage with Pacific governments and stakeholders to review these plans. Country Plan reviews measure progress towards Pacific Women’s outcomes and identify barriers to implementing activities and changes in country context. The reviews include recommendations for future directions.
In February 2018, country plan review activities took place in the Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI).

A developing Supercell across far Northeast Wisconsin on July 1 2017. Only isolated storms were expected, but this beast began to develop along an old outflow boundary from a storm early in the afternoon. Aiding in the development was a lake breeze boundary. The updraft was so explosive.

The 16mm cine film Developing Tank appears unused
or if used has been cleaned meticulously.
The ORIGINAL box shows some signs of wear.
The Developing Tank is from Leningrad, Russian / USSR. It has a certificate.
It dates 18 VIII 1964. (That's 18th of August 1964)
The rubber pipes are in really good condition and not porous or brittle at all.
Quite amazing for this age. The Tank itself is almost scratch free, shining
and just looks fantastic. I do not know how to use it. And I am only selling
as I have course fees to pay, so it is a reluctant sale of an object I adore.
If you are interested in the Developing Tank then please see the
collection of youtube videos I made showing it from all angles
www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL000C1C02C698EBC3
(at the moment I have 8 or so individual short clips of the developing tank,
arranged in a playlist, please check through them on you tube)
You should be able to see how good it looks. I can re-film any aspect of it
if you are interested, so please just get in touch, with questions and suggestions.
I am uploading the youtube videos at the moment, so they may take an hour or
so before they link up correctly.
I hope you will love this item as I did.

This is my first self-developed roll of black and white film. The stats for the camera and film are below, as well as the procedures that I used. I am pretty sure I messed up a few things, cause 1) some frames didn't come up at all, they had some sort of white (looks like overexposed) areas, and I am thinking that might be because of sloppy insertion of film into the reel, especially since I have the metal one, it makes things a bit more difficult to put film evenly. 2) the times for developing the film, fixing it, hypo clearing agent, and photo-flo were all the way messed up :) I don't even remember the exact times I put, but I will do an estimate below. I scanned the film, but did not do any processing on it, just added a border to make them a bit more interesting for my own taste.
Camera: Zenit-E
Lens: Asahi Super-Takumar 135mm/f3.5
Film: Arista II, ISO 400, fresh (non expired)
Scanned with: Canon 8800F
Developing procedure:
1:
Developer: Launder Chemical Formula 76
Ratio: 1:1, single roll, 8oz (4oz developer + 4oz water)
Time: 8 minutes, agitate every 30 seconds for 15 seconds :)
(I am telling you, don't know where I got this number from)
Temperature: tried to keep it at 68F/20C
2:
Fixer: Lauder Chemical Formual 763
Time: 2 minutes, agitate every 15 seconds
3:
Hypo-Clearing Agent: Launder Chemical Formula 150
Ration: 1:7, single roll, 8oz (1oz agent + 7oz water)
Time: don't recall, but something like a minute or so (1 min)
4:
Koda Photo-Flo 200
A couple of drops and god know what I did, just shaked it a bit
5:
Ran water for 10 minutes at 68F/20C
Basically, I am pleased with the results, but still don't know what happened to those overexposed areas. I am sure that was not the film, but something to do with incorrect position of film on the reel during development. Need to get the plastic container I think.
Any comments would be appreciated, please give me something to work on, anything would do, from times of developing to image enhancements.
Thanks

Developed around the classic trout waters of Yellowstone, the Orange Serendipity Fly has become a favorite especially of pocket water fishermen on the famous Madison River. The array of colors and sizes allows this fly to be used for caddis and midges or simply as a searching pattern. Trout in all types of water, even in large stillwater environments, seem to love the segmented buggy look of the Serendipity.

Having grown up in the post 60’s, 70’s, I got the idea that natural was better than processed (organic was not yet a cult and natural still had a definition that could be trusted. This is not the case now.) I believed that the girl on the Herbal Essence shampoo bottle, with flowers and herbs
streaming from her perfect hair, was the perfect kind of girl. She was so natural and so in tune with nature that it lived in her hair. I confess, I had a thing for her. See the rest of this post at..
