It isn't often that a destructive wildfire comes so close to threatening your home and livelihood, but today, was one of those days.
Earlier this afternoon, I awoke from a mid-afternoon nap to the sound of a loud helicopter flying unusually low over the house. It woke me to the point where I couldn't go back to sleep, so I checked Facebook, only to see a post from my next door neighbor alerting us to the smell of smoke and a very large cloud behind the house.
Right away, I soon discovered that a large fire erupted less than two miles away, and placed all of Lake Limerick under an evacuation advisory. Thankfully, we were not evacuated, but almost a thousand Sheltonians have been.
I began taking these about an hour after the fire began, with the last photo taken approximately seven hours later. It is presently estimated at nearly 300 acres, with 0% containment.
Let's keep all those affected in our thoughts tonight.

Environmentally destructive, but that copper has to come from somewhere. One of the largest open pits in the US, started by a Tech graduate.
About my pictures:
Since 2014 I've been documenting the daily, destructive, poisonous chemtrail activity in the Dayton, Ohio area -- home of the notorious Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (visited by every important person on Earth, and even a few Aliens ;-) -- and apparently from my photo and video documentation, Chemtrail Central. This area has been getting chemtrailed on a massive, daily basis and is being conducted, as they say, “in plain sight”. I've got over 10,000 high-resolution pictures already uploaded and available for free on Flickr, with thousands more on the way:

Take at the Karangahake Gorge, NZ. I have no idea what kind of bug this is. If anyone knows....please let me know.

The most destructive insect pests on earth. Aphids passively feed on sap of phloem vessels in plants. Some species have telescpoing generations which means that the female aphid has a daughter inside of her who is already pregnant with 'her' own daughter.

The destructive results of a mighty supernova explosion reveal themselves in a delicate blend of infrared and X-ray light, as seen in this image from NASA’s Spitzer Space Telescope and Chandra X-Ray Observatory, and the European Space Agency's XMM-Newton. The bubbly cloud is an irregular shock wave, generated by a supernova that would have been witnessed on Earth 3,700 years ago. The remnant itself, called Puppis A, is around 7,000 light-years away, and the shock wave is about 10 light-years across. The pastel hues in this image reveal that the infrared and X-ray structures trace each other closely. Warm dust particles are responsible for most of the infrared light wavelengths, assigned red and green colors in this view. Material heated by the supernova’s shock wave emits X-rays, which are colored blue. Regions where the infrared and X-ray emissions blend together take on brighter, more pastel tones. The shock wave appears to light up as it slams into surrounding clouds of dust and gas that fill the interstellar space in this region. From the infrared glow, astronomers have found a total quantity of dust in the region equal to about a quarter of the mass of our sun. Data collected from Spitzer’s infrared spectrograph reveal how the shock wave is breaking apart the fragile dust grains that fill the surrounding space. Supernova explosions forge the heavy elements that can provide the raw material from which future generations of stars and planets will form. Studying how supernova remnants expand into the galaxy and interact with other material provides critical clues into our own origins. Infrared data from Spitzer’s multiband imaging photometer (MIPS) at wavelengths of 24 and 70 microns are rendered in green and red. X-ray data from XMM-Newton spanning an energy range of 0.3 to 8 kiloelectron volts are shown in blue. Credit: NASA/ESA/JPL-Caltech/GSFC/IAFE via NASA 1.usa.gov/X0NLWC
Couldn't resist photographing this spectacular seedhead of a Goat's-beard plant that was growing at Confluence Park a week ago. This is one of our most invasive, destructive plants and it has taken over a lot of our parks and natural areas. Introduced from Eurasia. The bright yellow flower is beautiful, as is the dandelion-like seedhead, but what a huge problem it is.

I really enjoyed playing with this piece. Really relaxing and soothing to do something as destructive as light art.

Very destructive to tuberous lilies. Both the adult and the larvae eat the leaves, flowers and stems of the plant.
