Silver Gull is one of the seven birds in the Coastal Bird series of Art toys.
These toys have been developed in collaboration with artist Rachel Arthur and are based on her illustrations. I'm pleased to add them to the Flying Star Toy world.

“Nightriders are a particular breed of nocturnal bird spirits that wander between the supernatural world and earth-bound gods, communicating with the unseen.”
Archee comes with a card that describes him:
This beautiful creature was a gift from an ancient Babylonian king to his eldest daughter. Its crystal horn has healing properties and the ability to project the future when fed dark chocolate syrup.
The Nightriders also come with a little owl figure, Archee's is dark blue.
I really like the design of this series and hope to find more of them.

Bought this pink rabbit by NedZed in Mr. & Mrs. Muju's store in Brighton, 2 months ago.

I recently painted a customizable toy prototype (think 'munny') to contribute to a series that a class-mate of mine, Marta Ryczko, is launching as part of her self initiated 3rd year graphic design semester-long project. I felt that the original blank plaster form she had created kind of resembled a fox (if I imagined really hard) and this is what I came up with, a fox called 'Waldo'.
It was nice to spend an hour or two away from my laptop, and get my hands a little messy.
