An exquisite bespoke premium Western Wear Fall/Winter 2016 Fashion Collection launched by Prominent Fashion Designer Ashima Sharma, stunned the audience when her models walked the ramp for the final show of Asian Designers Week. The theme of the event revolved around Glamorous Fashion and Ashima primarily targeted the western off-shoulder, shimmer pleats, cape overlay in her designs. The styles displayed were elegant, modern and chic. Ashima Sharma had chosen fabrics including shimmer, foam lycra and denim with embellishments coupled by cape and lacy overlays. Her dynamic and lively designs lured the audience with their subtle charm, poise and grace. The designer captured hearts when her show stopper Manara Chopra, the famous actress from the legendary Chopra background walked the ramp in ‘Pink Fall Winter Barbie Gown’ which goes well with her Nick name Barbie. While speaking to Ashima – the designer who owns an online western wear bespoke designer label named ASHIMA S COUTURE revealed that she designs for women of all ages, shapes and sizes. She works towards eliminating body insecurities prevalent among women and works towards making them look and feel their best. Her designs are affordable and upbeat with the current international trends, the Label also adds special focus on customization of designs for women with different body types to give the best fit. Furthermore, Ashima stated that, “I am very glad that Manara Chopra walked the ramp showcasing my Fall/Winter ‘16 Barbie Gown as the show stopper. I feel very motivated to deliver best of designs each day!”. The two day event which was held at Talkotra Stadium, New Delhi on 19th & 20th November saw Eminent Designers from India and other Asian countries as well. LA Emerging Designers will take over LA Style Fashion Week as hundreds of fashion insiders gather to see LA designers’ latest couture collections at the Celebrity Centre International in Los Angeles, CA. The showcase will be hosted by 2014 Miss California USA Contestant and winner of Miss Hispanidad International, Dia Davis. The show will exhibit collections from celebrity stylist Jesse J and Jesse J Collections, Tokio Fever, Kym Couture Kollections, Trilodee, Luv Gen, Pheenix, Nicole Shante, and Kre8ivly Twysted. Designer’s Camera Club
The role of the camera in the design process has changed hugely over the last decade or so. Designers are increasingly using cameras not only to record their work, but as an integral part of it. Designers also take certain types of photo and make certain types of movies. Designers like cameras. This interests us, so we’ve formed a club.
DCC will meet on a semi-regular basis, perhaps once a month. Aside from meeting up in the pub, the formal meets will take three forms:
Talks.
Lots of folks are using cameras in interesting ways. We’ll gather some of them together to share their approach and experiences in small informal presentations.
Access.
As a club, we should be able to get access to photograph some pretty interesting places, which we may not be able to as individuals.
Experiments.
This is the ‘doing’ aspect of our club. We all want to learn about cameras and photography, and intend to play as much as possible. There’s a world of opportunities.
