The slip cover has been removed, revealing the Ursula doll in her display case. Then the acrylic top of the case has been removed. Ursula is still attached to the cardboard backing and plastic spacer by wires and plastic T-tabs. She is also supported by the built-in doll stand, which is attached to the plastic base.

Purchased on her release day, Monday October, 2012, at my local Disney Store. I was the 8th of 20 winners of the raffle to earn the right to buy her. I photograph her boxed, during her unboxing, and fully unboxed, both alone and with other comparable dolls.

I bought this beautiful outfit for Ariel from www.etsy.com/de/shop/HauntCoutureAtelier and decided to make an OOAK Designer Ariel doll. I repainted her eyebrows and lips to look more movie accurate. I really like her. :)

The slip cover has been taken off the display case. The doll is now visible from three sides and the top, behind the clear acrylic top of the case, which fits snuggly into the base. The doll is attached to the cardboard backing and the plastic spacer. The base includes a silver toned nameplate, and a filigree silver pattern on a black background.

I got Ariel today. I ordered her online on release day, October 27, 2018. She is #2047 of 4500. She and the box arrived in perfect shape. However, the invitation card has slipped down in the plastic sleeve, and won't stay up. I love her face and hair, but her dress is a bit too gaudy for my taste, although it is appropriate for an 80's girl. Her hair is stiff at the ends to keep its curl, so it got a little messy when I broke it up to even out her hair in the back. I cut off the rubber band securing the purse string to her shoulder. I had to use a little tape to keep it from sliding off her shoulder afterwards. I show her boxed, during deboxing, and fully deboxed. I have her now on my desk, right next to me as I type this. It is convenient that I got her just before the next one, Tiana, is released tomorrow.
