The Salone del Mobile.Milano made its first appearance in Miami during the Art Basel/Design Miami/ week with an event produced in partnership with the Ministry of Economic Development and ICE – Italian Trade Agency.
The project “began” with the Red Skyline installation at the Pérez Art Museum and the Museum Park, which was coloured red for the occasion, and “continued” in the Design District and Coral Gables Italian showrooms in the pursuit of Italian quality contemporary furnishing.

Part of Design Week 2010 this group exhibition features illustration, digital painting, video, 3D and anything behind words 'computer art'. This vibrant and exciting show presents emerging artists based in Ireland.

What Did The Celtic Tiger Ever Do For Us?
You are cordially invited to attend an exhibition as part of DesignWeek09, which I’m participating in.
The show, Shots Fired in the City is a photographic study of Dublin's urban environment showcases exciting new works by seven Irish photographers. For the purposes of this exhibition I have attempted to look beyond the obscene economics of the boom years and seek out the buildings worthy of the term ‘outstanding architecture’ hence the title “What Did The Celtic Tiger Ever Do For Us?” It's my biggest show so far with 7 pieces on display and my first time tackling the world of architecture with a camera. With my slightly warped perspective on the world I think I’ve captured the ‘wow’ factor.
If you want to be the judge of that, the launch party with drinks reception takes place on Tuesday November 3rd, from 6pm to 9pm in La Catedral off Thomas St. Entrance is free and all the images are for sale. Bearing in mind the times we live in, I’ve kept the pricing down to the bare production costs. In other words… now is the time to pick up a bargain! The images have already attracted commercial interest with KPMG having licensed one of the images.
If you can’t make the opening, the show runs until Sunday 8 November 12-8pm daily. Also on in the same venue is an experimental furniture show on called Public Furnication: A furniture, object and lighting design exhibition.
