Selective close-up of the varendah of a small and quaint terrace house in a northern suburb of Melbourne produces a design which the owners probably did not intend.
On a Sunday afternoon exploring North Melbourne, a suburban area I have not been to before, after living here for decades!

I switched it a up a little bit tonight. I wanted to get back to using negative space as a design element. So I lost the border I have been using on the rest of these, and I also didn't use any text. I know some people may argue that this won't flow with the rest of the ones I have already done...but the image makes me feel happy, and adding text and a border onto it ruined the calming feeling I think it evokes now. It feels very zen...just breathe it in...
These are coats I made for the little girls out of my own Bohemian fabrics and with Denyse Schmidt's Flea Market Fancy. The pattern is my own design :)

Chopper 20189 and 20142 seen at Kidderminster Station
At the Severn Valley Railway
The Class 20 is a low powered class of locomotive designed
for light freight services and trip working between marshalling yards
and industrial installations.
It features a single cab at one end of the locomotive in BR service
The class could often be seen working in pairs
Regularly employed to haul coal trains from pits to power stations
In the midlands, north of England and Scotland.
Despite their unconventional appearance, the class has proved
to be an undoubted success story of the modernisation plan.
228 examples were built between 1957 and 1968 by English Electric
at Vulcan Foundry or Robert Stephenson and Hawthorns at Darlington.
Over a dozen Class 20s still see regular service on the main line with various private operators.
20189 was built at Vulcan Foundry in 1967
It spent much of its life working in the East Midlands whilst allocated to
Toton TMD before being withdrawn from British Rail service in 1990
After withdrawal the loco was sold for scrap to MC Metal Processing in Glasgow.
But fortuitously came to be used as the yard Shunter for a prolonged period and was later sold rather than cut up !
In the early 2000s the loco was employed to work engineering trains in connection with construction of the Channel Tunnel Rail Link
( CTRL now better know as HS1) in more recent years
It has become something of a Mail line celebrity and has even had its own Hornby Model released
