From a hill overlooking Florence and the River Arno, view of the Ponte Vechio bridge. This was the only bridge spared as the Nazis retreated from Florence during World War II, mining bridges as they went to ensure their escape. The bridge is lined with jewelry shops now, in what were once residences along the sides of the bridge.

My mom's garden has plenty of choices, but the daisy is always my favorite. So simple and innocent. So clean after a rain shower.
