On a walk through Upton Country Park this morning I noticed just how many dandelions were being used by the local bee population. A wonderful sight, especially when you get up and close and can see them covered in pollen!
Sitting on a wooden table looking toward a paved walkway in the main shopping street of Mornington, Victoria, Australia in winter.
Second try, I think I got it better this time...
This is a Modelization (Depth of Field effect) of a photo in compujeramey's PhotoStream. I have yet to really get his permission, so if he says no, this thing is coming down. Enjoy it while it lasts!
Original: Unaltered Photo
Made on a Mac by the way... My second attempt, but I think it turned out rather good... took me maybe 20 minutes to do the bulk of the effect, and another 20 to fine tune the blur effect for the stuff that was left clear by the initial step, like the basketball hoop and a few of the people....
A macro close-up of the glazing on a huge pot (for bushes or smaller trees) that shows the small details (crackled finish) with a good depth of field and bokeh.
I did not notice the piece of fluff floating to the left side of the pot until I started processing the image. Nice little bonus.
