52 Weekly Alphabet Challenge This has been my life lately. It's an effective little contraption.

Taken with an inverted 28mm Tamron, manually stopped down.

Just love produce stands, so many textures, colors....this one was taken in Davis Oklahoma

Using the morning sun.

Whilst I was outside watering my garden I had a sudden urge to strike out the camera and get a few shots of some of my new plants. This one in particular has to be one of my favourites as it has such a strong vibrancy of pink.

What I wanted to achieve with this shot in particular were the tiny drops of water that looked like little orbs nestled on the beautiful petals of this flower head. My secondary aim was to capture a more artistic shot by experimenting with depth of field and point of focus. I seriously cannot get enough of the Canon 100mm f/2.8L.

At 10 weeks old you know this little one has more growing to do.

When shooting white on white I'm fascinated by the array of colors. Nothing is ever really white, since white is all the colors in the spectrum.

Have you ever questioned why we refer to the "leaf" on a stalk of corn as a blade? Nor have I. We were just taught that is what is is. Well, trust me when I tell you to NOT going running thru a field of corn!!! Because then you will learn that those " corn blades" will cut you like razor blades!
