"And I have by me, for my comfort, two strange white flowers - shriveled now, and brown and flat and brittle - to witness that even when mind and strength had gone, gratitude and a mutual tenderness still lived on in the heart of men."
- Author: H.G.Wells
These flowers are not shriveled, brown or brittle... only growing and adding delicacy along my way.
White Geranium
Despite living in the same fountain as the Water Hyacinth, these delicate plants are doing well in the little fountain at the Botanic Garden.
I could not identify the species, but love the effects of light on them, and that's why they are now here for your appreciation.
If someone knows the ID, please let me know.
Thank you all!
* Once more, Li Feng helps me with the ID of this plant: Water lettuce/ Pistia stratiotes.
Thanks, Li!
A lovely Iris I encountered walking up in the Berkeley Hills in January. Sweet, unassuming, delicate, with soft colors, and very pretty.
Macro Mondays: My Closest
This is yet another "fève", from my mother's treasure box. It is probably the finest and loveliest of her collection.
As expected, there were hundreds of people surrounding this most famous arch awaiting for sunset!
I had no expectation of getting a unique composition on Delicate Arch before arrival, compounded by the huge crowds, gusty wind and cold temperature, I just wanted to get out of there and hike back before losing the last of light.
This shot was taken through Twisted Doughnut Arch, one of the most unique spots to take a photo of this massive and most photographed arch.
Thank you for your visit and kind support, wishing you a happy Sunday! 💕😘
PS: I'm on a road trip, will catch up with you when I have time, energy and a fast internet!😊
Have a great weekend everyone.

To walk a delicate path,
along a transient moment in time,
realization that but a soft breath,
delivers the unfortunate fateful blow,
igniting the autumn fire within,
sealing ones fate along that ever delicate path.
Following the dew drops along this beautiful Autumn morning rose leaf. The third photo from the "Autumn Inspirations I" series.
Thanks for the favs and kind compliments!

A wonderful young beech displays a delicate display of yellow at the edge of a conifer army. Always love exploring the transition area between the wild wood and the regimented conifers. Taken at Barnes's Grove, Buckinghamshire.

Love is....a flower so
delicate that a touch will
bruise it, so strong that
nothing will stop it's growing.

This delicate beauty was sitting one summer on a flower, and I found it so beautiful. I have not really an idea what kind of butterfly species this is - maybe a small copper?

Delicate Arch can be viewed from upper viewing point, which is about a half mile hike up a hill. Well worth the climb, especially if you're unable to make it up to Delicate Arch itself. The arch is one of the main and most popular of the attractions at this park. The rangers allow you to walk onto the slickrock as long as you do not walk on non-rock surfaces. Sun down time, ended onto a plateau where the arch appeared almost like a vision, the deep cliffs under my foot…
