HMS ARGYLL ARIVES IN KOTA KINABALU
On Thursday 17th January 2019 HMS Argyll and her ship's company arrived in the picturesque destination of Kota Kinabalu in Malaysia. During her three day stop she will not only host a VIP Defence Engagement evening but will also host a schools visit and organise a variety of adventure training for the ship's company.

Anti-tank cones placed near the Furnace Pond of Slaugham, West Sussex to deter the predicted Nazi Invasion of Britain that never took place.
This set of defences were described for the Defence of Britain project in 1996 as
10 plus anti-tank 'cones' to defend road crossing over the Furnace Pond. Some of the cones are now used to line the road, while others lie in the Furnace Pond.
