Tomiké Lee Ogugua (Ebi, Bomba & Officer) Kedu!! Tomiké is grateful to Ramba Productions for the chance to perform again in Chudi Uwazurike’s The Flycatcher’s Identity. A BFA graduate of the Professional Theatre Program at NC A&T State University, and alumnus of Negro Ensemble Company’s “Actor’s Instrument” workshop, Tomiké appeared on stages in Chicago and Off-Broadway in New York City. Notable roles include: Sam in The Sun & The Moon (Paul Robeson Theatre), Will Parrish in Flyin’ West (Thymely Theatre, Chicago), Rev. Dr. MLK, Jr. in The Zeitgeist:Tragedy of MLK (Roy Arias Theatre), Young Sam in Don’t Play That Song For Me (Nat’l Black Theatre), and Tray D in A Praying Grandma (J&B Collaborations) to name a few. Tomiké is slated to appear in Jawnaza’s The Passage: Stories from the Maafa in the very near future, and makes appearances in DefJam recording artists The Roots latest music video “How I Got Over,” and Russell Constanza’s gritty urban indie drama, The Tested. Mr. Ogugua would like to thank Director – Shannon-Forbes, Producer – Fabian Burrell, Playwright – Chudi Uwazurike, the cast & crew, and all his friends and family from Nigeria to Cali to Texas to London to North Carolina and Chicago for their continued support. Special shout out to his friend and personal mentor, Jerome Preston Bates. “This performance is dedicated to my mother, Cecilia, who taught me her Nigerian pride growing up.
