This was a assignment for my photography class. the concept image was "friend" and this is my best friend and one of my favorite people. although most people see his as always being the life of the party, there is more then meets the eye and it is captured through this image.
This man was at the spot where we shot the skyline from. He must've sat and stared at the skyline for at least a half hour. the he just walked off...
If the Vogons had decided to build the hyperspace bypass today, at least I would have been safe with my makeshift hitchhiker's ring, my towel and my Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy which I diligently carried around with me all day.

This was taken the day after I returned from Borders. The weather was excellent, so made some phone calls and went out to get some pictures. We wander around Kelvingroove Park and took some shots of the park and the people enjoying the lovely sunshine.
It's always nice to have friends who share the same interest. I often travel alone to places in the middle of no where (I like the peace and quiet those places offer). Once when I was in the Karakoram alone, a stranger came to talk to me. We had a lengthy chat and before he left he said to me "happiness is only true when shared". That few simple yet meaningful words printed in my mind forever.
So there you go. Good company, good weather and good fun!
