Woman pulling knees in and looking away. Pose, combined with dark background and tight framing suggest feelings of stress or being limited and without options.

Went to Balloons Over Bend a few weekends ago with my beautiful girlfriend, Taylor. I managed to get a picture of her when she wasn't looking. HAHA! She's quite photogenic if you can't tell.

“There are men who can think no deeper than a fact”

- Voltaire (French philosopher, writer)

It's amazing to think that, at one time, none of us knew how to use forks... or tie our shoes.

Who was the first person to use a fork?

Martha pondering the deep questions of life.

today was a really hard day for me...before I got out of bed I knew it would be "one of those Mondays" and true to form everything I touched seemed to go wrong..So after work, I found myself at the park..alone with my thoughts....

She ponders what the future may hold for her.

In between my busy schedule this week, I found yet another abandon house in my neighbourhood and once again Chelsea came along and we got some great shots.

The house had such a different feel than the last, we just used the back yard, the inside felt incredibly eerie and we talked for ages about how uncomfortable we felt as we peeked through the opened windows. The backyard was over grown and we quickly found the best parts to work in.

It's so good to have the opportunity to work with such willing and trusting people, like Chels, who lets me experiment and fine tune my style of photography. Getting a shot like this totally makes my day and I can't wait to get it printed!! Thanks Chels and thanks to the people that let their houses get so run down that all they're good for is photo shoots!

And the old adage applies - wherever you go - there you are!

A close up of a very pensive face-whats the future.

I bought this pocket watch when I was about 20 years old. It was my intention to give it to my son when he got older. I sat here, just looking at it and was in awe at how fast time has passed.

It feels like only yesterday I was at the store looking at an "heirloom" I could pass down to future generations. Good intention, but the pocket watch doesn't pass the muster to be classified as an "heirloom."

Still, it makes me more aware of how little time we have on this planet. Life is so short and there's never enough time for everything you would like to do and/or accomplish.

That said, live life to its fullest. Enjoy every moment like it was your last. Be a rockstar! Don't waste another moment in anger, stress, or disappointment.

Now I'm off to enjoy my "Friday" at work and take the next couple of days off. WOOHOO!

Not sure if this is an Egret, Heron or some other type of bird. Found this guy in deep thought. Reminds me of the Thinker by Rodin.

This is a shot I took in the abandoned house while on a Studio J Images shoot. I also took some pictures of Lindsey W, that I recently posted here on Flickr as well. So I had to get this edited and posted for you to see!

Broken. It is what we all are and tend to stay until we die. We fail to see that being human means it is crucial to be connected. To find parts of ourselves that fit with one another. Yet we stand judgmental of the man who lost his job and eats to cope. We call the woman a slut because of how she chooses to live her life. It is part of life to judge. It is human to judge. I judge. You judge. It is a habit hard to break. It is our drug of choice. It is a drug I struggle with daily because I don't want to be broken. I want to find my piece in another. I want to make not only myself whole, but others whole as well. We are all broken.

A guy takes a quick smoke break, he looked like he was in deep thought about something, never even noticed me standing there for several minutes....

"If a kid asks where rain comes from, I think a cute thing to tell him is "God is crying." And if he asks why God is crying, another cute thing to tell him is "Probably because of something you did."" - Jack Handy

I just thought my stream was getting a little heavy with both images and topic. Then I thought, "Too bad. It's my stream and I do this for me." *phhhbbbt*

I do hope you like the shot, but I am proud of it even if you don't. : )

More so, I really hope you can appreciate how freaking funny Jack Handy is. heh.

I think Carlos Mencia put it best when he said: "Even God has a sense of humor. If you don't believe me, tomorrow, go to Wal-Mart and just look at people. I laughed so hard I cried the first time I heard that. And then I remembered I go to Wal-Mart too.

Then it was even funnier. : )
