[GRAY SKINNED PHOTO - A MONOTONOUS FEELING]
@One Elizabeth Place, Talamban, Cebu City
Gray is the color of intellect, knowledge, and wisdom. It is perceived as long-lasting, classic, and often as sleek or refined. It is a color that is dignified, conservative, and carries authority. Gray is controlled and inconspicuous and is considered a color of compromise, perhaps because it sits between the extremes of black and white. Gray is a perfect neutral, which is why I use it as a background color.
Squared in bars of meta protruding from the cemented ground, l was in the ditch of temporary lost thinking. I figured the essence of the significant color. On my head says: When I photographed myself in color, I photographed my clothes. But when I photographed myself in Black and white, I found the photograph of my soul!

This summer we visited southern California. I didn't take many photos with my Nikon, opting instead to document this trip with my iPhone and my Instax.
Ever feel like this tree? Like the side you're showing the world is full of life, perfectly put together, and growing? But then the side you're not showing is bare and ravaged? It's deep and it's depressing, but it made me think!

*I wonder if that husky Italian boy will package my bags at the market today?
*I wonder if you can get pregnant just by sitting on a toilet seat?
My first attempt of a portrait of Sherae White. This photo is my pride piece because at the time of this photo I didn't know how to use the camera but felt in my gut the photo would come out regardless.

Life sometimes has a way of throwing you a curveball ..... what seems like a sneaky pitch, but a pitch you have to face head on. Even after a strikeout, the seasoned batter takes the bench in stride and reflects. What went wrong, will he get to bat again in this inning, perhaps he needs a break for a couple of innings to get his game strategy on focus. By the way, I'm not sure where all this baseball talk is coming from.....hmm, guess I just feel like rambling out a few thoughts.....

On someone's suggestion I came down to Mooney's Bay, by myself.
Then suddenly I came up with an idea to just put the camera down and take a shot of me in this state, whether it focused on me or not. I think it looks just fine, if not better, focusing on the grass.
The idea of self-reflection is quite true: for instance, I don't have school, no job, and no friends at all to hang out with. My whole life is ahead of me.
Mooney's Bay is perhaps one of my most favorite places in this city. Unfortunately I couldn't stay long - I had to get all the way back home, about 14.94 km away. If I had my way I'd have gone swimming, right there. It's a sandy bottom, no sea weed, and the water is beautiful.
It's kind of lonely there too. That's how I feel anyway. Man, the grass did a good job, I love this composition.
Never did find out 3D mans name, or read his huge information board due to people blocking the view. I know he had finished works laying around where one had to stand in a certain spot to get the effect.

At the Narasimhar Perumal Temple i found that there was a Yagna going on for the welfare of the Country and Peace. This Lonely Iyengar Brahmin was sitting away from the others and he was completely lost in thoughts. So much that went right in front of him and knelt down and shot a few portraits and he did not care at all!
I must say this was my closest and most daring attempt at candid photography. I have never really had the nerve to use the 50MM for candids. Its always the Tamron 70 - 300 and tripod that go with all of my Candid shots.
The sense of achievement that a close up lens like the 50MM gives you with candid photography, believe me nothing like it. You can get laid like a rock star and i don't think it would come close to anywhere doing a candid with a fixed lens at this close a range. LOL!
