For the 365 days group, day 115 and for those just making their way one day at a time.

It's weird sometimes. I actually am doing work more like I enjoy doing; that is, writing code everyday and testing it. I'm stretching my humble skills a bit, with new techniques, better approaches, and plumbing the depths of an unfamiliar system.

Yet some days it just feel like getting by. Some days everything just flows but still it isn't quite satisfying. Sometimes the question pops into your head, is this it, is this my life's work?

On those days I just work and get by; I make the best of those moments that I can, when the other barriers are down and good work can be done. I daydream in between the moments of work, and wonder what if.

How about you?

Day 92 (October 3rd, 2010)

Title: Remembrance

I know we have days like "Veteran's Day" and "Memorial Day", which are great to help remember those who have fought in wars, but sometimes its nice to just remember folks (warrior or not) on just a random Tuesday (or any day really). So, the next time you have a free moment, think about your history and who helped build it. Think about those who came before you and what part they took in creating the legacy that you are now living in. Perhaps you can also think about what part you will play for the next generation. Think about how what actions you can do to help those tomorrow remember those from yesterday.

Ok, I admit, that last line was a bit "fortune-cookie", but still, its not a bad thought!

I think what was frustrating to see a lot of good people go. You don't picture it, you don't imagine it, don't think it could happen. When it does, you are puzzled.

YOu all know how it is when you have 5 things or more to do at a time but you don't know with what to start...that was the situation today...I sat and did nothing for a while....just sat there wondering.....

The funniest book I've read in a LONG time!

Self + Duck. Taken after a 3 mile hike through dunes to watch the sunset. We had all sorts of companions that we don't get to see in they city. Herons, mallards, and swallows. Warren Dunes, Sawyer, MI.

Millennials views on being in the church have swayed so differently than baby boomers. The question is, why has the institution of church made millennials shy away from religion, even though they are spiritual?

Comment your feelings on spirituality and religion, we’d love to...

This is the hillside I've been walking up every morning this semester, between Roberts Hall and Spragins Hall. I never realized it before, but it's really one of the prettier spots on campus.
