Another shot from my mother's garden! I like the contrast between the blue and the orange from the flower.

The Deep buildings were designed by world class architects Sir Terry Farrell & Partners.
Part of the regeneration of Hull, The Deep has become an internationally recognised landmark and has even featured on a Royal Mail stamp.
The building exploits the landscape on which it is built and was inspired by natural geological land formations. Gleaming glass and aluminium thrust into the dramatic landscape on the confluence of the two rivers marking the historic entry to Kingston Upon Hull with a brand new future!
"I genuinely consider that this project has the potential to be regarded as one of the most characterful and unique new public buildings in Britain"
Sir Terry Farrell
The Deep has won awards which include gold award for The Green Tourism Business Scheme and silver for Large Visitor Attraction of the Year 2009 (Welcome to Yorkshire’s White Rose Awards).

The guests were in deep meditation while the imam was saying his prayer:
"There is no god but He - the Living, The Self-subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can seize Him Nor Sleep. His are all things In the heavens and on earth. Who is there can intercede In His presence except As he permitteth? He knoweth What (appeareth to His creatures As) Before or After or Behind them. Nor shall they compass Aught of his knowledge Except as He willeth. His throne doth extend Over the heavens And on earth, and He feeleth No fatigue in guarding And preserving them, For He is the Most High. The Supreme (in glory)." [Surah al-Baqarah 2: 255]

A gorilla at the Albuquerque Rio Grande zoo ponders the meaning of everything on a glorious sunny afternoon. Or maybe, it was just pondering what mischief to get into next. Rather hard to tell with a gorilla. Either way, the pose and the moment struck me, giving us Deep Thoughts.
Deep Mud is the curse of a canal boat - we now know why such a long pole is needed on the boat.

A while back I made this chicago-style deep dish pizza in the cast-iron skillet. This is what it looked like after I pulled it out of the oven.
From the bottom to the top, it was crust, cheese, sausage, pepperoni, crust, cheese, pepperoni, and a little more cheese.
I did a few things wrong which I'll fix next time I do it, but overall it wasn't bad
NOTE: I did not cook this on the stove
Setting sail from Vilamora across the Algarve, looking out towards Casablanca. This reminds me of the final moments of the film "Truman Show", which I sometimes thinking I am taking part in. The same sh!t happens to me literally every day at the same time. I need a new life.
