As part of the PNCA Alumni Reunion, PNCA celebrates the new home of Memory 99 a significant work by PNCA alumnus Lee Kelly ‘59, on the Northwest Park Blocks adjacent to PNCA’s future Arlene and Harold Schnitzer Center for Art and Design. Kelly’s Memory 99 was the cornerstone of the Portland Art Museum’s retrospective of the artist’s work and finds a permanent home in this future park block thanks to a gift for its purchase provided by The Ford Family Foundation.
Made possible by a grant from the Visual Arts Program of The Ford Family Foundation (Roseburg, Oregon) to preserve public access to works of consequence by Oregon’s most significant visual artists.

Supporters of the the Mid-Missouri VA Fisher House at the Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans’ Hospital in Columbia, Missouri, dedicated the comfort home for military and veteran families with a ceremony on July 14. These photos of bedrooms and a bathroom show the amenities that guests will have while supporting their loved ones at the nearby hospital.

Photos from the Dreiseitl fountain dedication ceremony. My children were quick to take up the artist on his statement that "having children interact in the fountain is part of the concept"!
(All were taken with an ancient iphone after dark, so the quality is not great.)
Amber English, Olympic gold medalist in Women’s Skeet, took part in the ribbon cutting ceremony for the Olympians & Paralympians Among us Sculpture at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. English is a UCCS alumni and spoke to the city at the event. The artwork celebrates not only the UCCS students who have competed as Olympic or Paralympic athletes, but also the indomitable spirit required to achieve both educational and athletic achievement.
