Today went out in the rains, where the photography book I'm reading says we must grab umbrella and charge out in the rains; the light is crisp and beautiful, and you'll see reflections too.

A couple of weeks ago, I decided to dedicate a whole day to photograph the lavish inflorescence of the cherry blossoms in St James' Park ( I will soon post some photos) as there are perhaps no other flowers that have the power of mesmerizing me for hours, as those pink, heavenly beautiful clouds of petals.

I tried various compositions and I was photographing the trees reflected on the water from the Blue bridge when I turned my face towards the opposite side of the bridge and I saw this spectacular golden cloud...The Horse Guards building and the London Eye were bathed in the glorious, warm pastel shades of the twilight. I changed my perspective and I took as many shots of this view as I possibly could. Some moments have to be crystallized forever...and shared...that's the magic of photography.

I dedicate this photo to my boss who spends his time digging up all kinds of unbelievably crappy conspiracy theories, and wasting my time and nerves "proving" them to me with weird stuff from the internet. I tried to argue with him when he denied the climate change or defended the invasion of Crimea (I suspect that his secret dreams include strangling bears in Siberia with his pal Wladimir, probably bare-chested). I have given up on trying to save him for the sane part of humanity when he told me that he finally found prove that Germany is no state but a company, one with limited liability to be exact. Now it's time to dedicate our attention to the beautiful Erawan Waterfalls again.

Here we are at level 2 (out of 7).

This is where most visitors gather during the day, as the large pool in the background is a perfect place to swim. Furthermore, this spot is relatively easy to reach even in the hottest heat. It gets quite busy then.

Luckily, I was here early enough to have this scene all to myself.

Jetzt wird es aber Zeit, dass wir uns mal wieder den wunderschönen Erawan Wasserfällen widmen.

Hier befinden wir uns nun auf Stufe 2 (von 7).

An dieser Stelle versammeln sich tagsüber die meisten Besucher, da das große Becken im Hintergrund ein perfektes Schwimmbad ist. Außerdem ist dieser Platz auch in der größten Hitze noch relativ entspannt zu erreichen. Da ist dann ganz schön Trubel hier.

Zum Glück war ich so früh hier, dass ich diese Szene ganz allein für mich hatte.
