every time I decide to use groups I get nervous, first , because fave links are slow or mostly difficult to catch immediately, I use personal lapcomputers and Explorer, maybe that's the reason ? then because I have to use the old groups not to incur in that beta ridiculous praxis to scroll down maybe hundreds of comments in order to put mine, I just wonder who was " intelligent "

enough to invent this unnerving practice ! he , she or they probably don't put his , her, their pictures on Flickr and have no problems with fingers after hours of scrolling up and down ! I just wonder if these new and " intelligent " rules have been made by a photographer or by an idiotic burocrat or a whole team of idiots

She decides to go to Marty's apartment to find out the scoop about her and the stranger. She enters the lobby and looks around. Something is not right. She walks up the stairs to Marty’s floor and smells her perfume along with something else in the air. She pulls out her gun from her handbag and peeks out from behind a wall to the lobby. The revolving door rotates and reveals one of her arch enemies strolling in. Harley Quinn. Which means Joker can’t be far behind. ‘Why now?’ she thinks. ‘What does she want?’ She turns and hurries on to Jane’s apartment to warn her.

She bangs on Marty’s door and realizes her gun is still drawn. She sees an eye looking through the peep hole and is met with the sound of a hammer being pulled back and Jane’s yelling. She listens to her flip her lid for a few seconds, then turns and walks away.

‘Anotha day Miss Marty. But watch your back cause I sure am.’

Alright everyone, I finally finished another build. I started it just before Thanksgiving and just finished it yesterday. This creation is for my series of builds based off of the chronicles of Narnia, it's from Prince Caspian.

I have two more sneak peaks ready, but I haven't decided if I'm going to post them or just go straight to the build. So whatever I decide, be ready! ;)

Also, since my last build I got another Bricklink order! I got some flex tubes, some cheese slopes, and some useful white pieces. I can't wait to use them all!

To God be the glory,

Carter

I decide to upload the edited one as well coz in black & white, it gives me quite a different feeling.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my American Firiends!

Yay! TGIF I could decide if I wanted to go for Architectural Friday or Sand Dune Friday, as you can see the latter won the day! Wishing everyone a lovely weekend. My flickring from now until next Thursday may be a little hit and miss as I have a few days of utter madness socially. I will try and keep up but cannot promise!

Fujairah is the only Emirate of the UAE that is almost totally mountainous. All the other Emirates, like Dubai and Abu Dhabi are located on the west coast, and are largely covered by desert. Therefore, Fujairah boasts a higher than average yearly rainfall of the UAE, allowing farmers in the region to produce one crop every year.

The weather is seasonal, although it is warm for most of the year. The months of October to March are generally regarded as the coolest, with daytime temperatures averaging around 25 °C (77 °F) and rarely venturing above 30 °C (86 °F) with temperatures climbing to over 40 °C (104 °F) degrees in the summer. The winter period also coincides with the rainy season and although by no means guaranteed, this is when Fujairah experiences the bulk of its precipitation. Rainfall is higher than the rest of the UAE. partly because of the effect of the mountains that encircle the Emirate, and partly because the prevailing winds are westerly bringing with them water-laden clouds off the warm Indian Ocean.

The variability of the east coast climate is partly due to the presence of the Hajjar mountain range. As with other mountainous areas, precipitation is higher, and this allows for a more varied micro-environment in the area. Tourist visitor numbers peak just before the school summer months.

couldn't decide.. so i uploaded both!

Linked to the bird man cult and ceremony and associated with the god Makemake. After the civil wars when the Moai (statues) were toppled the cult of the bird man originated to decide the head clan for one year. The champion of each clan had to descend the very steep cliff swim to the island find a bird egg and return with it unbroken after swimming back and climbing the cliff. The first to do so became the head clan for that year.

Deciding to explore Athens, I first came to this park that has the statue of Athena. The park had some really cool landscape designs and is very peaceful. I'm not sure what it was called, but it is not far from Mount Lycabettus. Mount Lycabettus was another place I visited and it is one of my favorite places. As you ascend to the top, you could see most of the city. Once you're on top, you really could see the entire city of Athens. I was also surprised that they have a church up top too with a few cafes and restaurants.

When a grizzly decides to take your fishing spot, there's not much you can do about it... These fly fishermen at the Brooks Lodge in Katmai National Park in Alaska had to be ready to defer to the bears at all times.

The telephoto lens (I shot this at 400mm) makes the bear look closer than it actually was, but grizzlies can run at about 35mph so that's still not much distance to cover.

It's both wonderful and frustrating when deciding shoes.

Deciding between an insect and some bread infront of a pyramid.

now to decide how the feather quilting will go. So, partner, any quilting preferences you'd like to see?? Oops!! sorry I don't hand quilt! :)

It took us a while to get out of the house and on the road. By the time we got to the reservoir a storm rolled through. I wish I brought my big camera. I would have tried capturing the lightning that sent us on our way. :)

As you know i was in two minds as the whether I should go to the dance last night or not and in all truth i was delaying making that decision because going to something like that alone is a big thing when you are a normal CIS type let alone when you are trans.

I would be going in blind! not knowing who was going to be their, if i would know anyone and how i would be received.

After putting off deciding I went for it threw on a dress i brought yesterday and said to hell with it make or break time. and off i went.

Well turns out it was fine, I knew a few people and had a few dances following as a lady should and also leading a few, All in all a good night I even got to dance with Richard the guy who i danced with on Thursday. He is a sweet guy and really accepting of me! He even gave a peck on the cheek when I went home, Don't worry he is getting married, i am not going to get another Jamie situation lol.

I love shooting with Trish - she is such a pleasant, sweet, fun, and photogenic young lady. I've shot with her for several years now and she keeps getting better. We did this shoot at the campus of business in Meridian, Idaho on a beautiful summer evening in August 2021. Trish brought her A Game yet again. Excellent shoot!

Although northern and western parts of the US have a variety of colorful Hairstreak species, here in the deep south we have several gray species...and one major exception, the Purple Hairstreak, which always makes for a rare but happy find!

They seem so incompatible, but Edwin B Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge is a great place for nature and photography even though in the shadows of Atlantic City. It was a rough day to be there with Hurricane Joaquin churning in the Atlantic, deciding where to land its fury while bringing endless wind and rain to the east coast. I love salt marshes with their special smells, sounds and sights and this one is massive with its long Wildlife Drive perfect for spotting, watching and shooting from the car in nasty weather! This view sets up the next image.....salt marsh being key words and get your magnifying glasses ready!

I have dozens of compositions with this dogwood from the Tremont area of the Great Smokies, can't decide which I like best. This one, to me, seems a more intimate shot of the tree nestled in its protected place behind the boulders out of the way of the rushing waters.

The Kim Yong market is possibly most popular shopping destination in the Hat Yai area. These shoppers were buying imported chestnuts from one of the venders along the street sidewalk.

At the Paprihaven observatory, super-hero Hardcase spots Godzilla Force agent Margaret O'Brien. He decides to strike up a conversation and maybe impress her.

"Wow, there are all the moon phases. There's the Waxing Gibbous."

"A waxen gibbus!? They think the moon is made out of wax?? And what's a gibbus, anyway?"

"Oh! Um... it's just one of the moon phases. I mean, you're an astronaut or something like that, right?"

"No. Why would you think that? And what's all this about waxing and gibbuses??"

Hardcase suddenly regretted starting the conversation.

"I saw your armor... it looked spacey."

"Spacey!? I'm with the Godzilla Force! We fight Godzilla!"

"Oh... yeah, cool. Anyway, good to see you."

"Do you really think the moon is made of wax??"

"Nope."

Okay, fine! The Paprihaven moon is pretty weird.

Decide to hell with the rain and went for a short stroll anyway, and it was worth getting damp as I met the Swan Family again. They were sitting by the small park near the Union Canal, then got up to get back into the water a few moments after I arrived.

Chaos Chaos! You all decide to laugh at the fool when you don't realize that you're the real fools, I may look imprisoned when in reality you're all in containment and I'm the only free one, the leaders thought such fun was a crime, well nothing can contain me, I CAN DO ANYTHING! Even make the crazy insane secret boss, which also explains the crazy talk at the beginning. I really like how he turned out for the most part, I sculpted his hat with ears and modified a tailcoat piece thing he has with paper, he also has a cape, a painted Shakespeare neck piece, and a double sided head. His scythe was as close as I could get with how it actually looks, I didn't want to scult or glue anything on it because I didn't want it to break so I kept it nice and simple.

Decide to play with this one just for the fun of it. Not sure quite what I think of it, looking forward to your opinion! :-)

Yet again, you must forgive my elderly eyes, but because of the angle, I can't decide about the yoke leaning up against this impressive Belfast building. Also, were those Hudson's "soap bars" seats, or were they mobile advertising, carried around by a person either end? All reasonable suggestions will be entertained...

Took this with my Sony A6000. I had to decide what bag to use. As I am using the Olympus more at the moment I thought I would show this one. For those wondering what the little legs on the camera is, it is called... Manfrotto mp3-bk large pocket support. I have them on the camera all the time.

Woke this morning and could not decide wether it was worth going out to find a location to photograph the dawn.

I finally decided to give it a go with only 30 mins left before sunrise. This limited my choices for locations so I elected to stay very local and headed to the beach at Berling, just north of Warkworth.

As it turned out, it was well worth the effort as the dawn lasted quiet a while with good colours in the sky well after sunrise due to the amount of high cloud.

This shot was the very first one taken as I arrived on the beach.
