Eu queria entender quem inventou esta história de conto de fadas e de prÃncipe encantado...
Quando descobrimos a verdade isso tudo desaba em nossa cabeça e acaba virando dor. E o pior é que eu sinto no peito, no coração!

As Deception Creep flows through the forest on its way to meet the Tye River it makes a abrupt thunderous right angle bend in the weather resistant granitic rock. These images were made just below that rock formation. On this morning the sun was illuminating the mist. I spent some time and made a number of images as the mist came and went. I processed these images in several different ways. This is the most natural black and white edit.

Deception Pass is a narrow strip of water in the San Juan Islands that separates Fidalgo Island from Whidbey Island. It is famous for its powerful converging currents, making it a hazardous area for small boats.
This is a view of the pass from Whidbey Island. That peice of land in the middle is Pass Island. It is actualy located in between Fidalgo and Whidbey, and is connected by another section of the bridge.
Named by Captain George Vancouver 10 June 1792. Feeling that he had been "DECEIVED" as to the nature of the inner waterway, PORT GARDNER (Now Saratoga Passage). He wrote on his chart "DECEPTION PASS." He honored master Joseph Whidbey, who found the passage while commanding a small boat crew of explorers by naming the island "WHIDBEY."
