Pulse Contemporary Art Fair had a wonderful showing of artists and galleries during Art Basel week in Miami. This was the sixth edition of the fair, and the first under new director Cornell DeWitt.
The Fair offered 82 leading and emerging international galleries alongside a number of original programs and cultural events for which the fair has earned a reputation.

My grandfather: Forest Oak Eldred, or Forest Eldred, as he was commonly known, was an ambulance driver during World War I. As so many of our veterans, he witnessed many scenes of tragedy during his service.
Written on the back are the names of each of the men seated. They are (from left to right):

My family's crèche. It was given by my grandmother to my parents on my oldest brother's first birthday. He would be 79 years old this coming May... My sister-in-law sent it to me after he died. I painted it black (the old fading blue/green color had not aged well. The figurines are not in great condition, but are ok. I remember gazing at this when I was a very young child and listening to the sound of the music box that still plays Silent Night. Next year maybe I'll put some greens around it and some straw in the manger scene.
Christmas afternoon. After brunch with friends, Peggy, Kevin and I opened gifts. I took some pictures of the pub decorations. This is before Beth's family arrived.
I didn't do a whole lot of decorating, but the tree was pretty. Peggy and I decorated the tree on Dec 22.
