Late post. This was all I felt compelled to take photos of yesterday. Still hacking away at my program. I took a break to watch the kids wash the cars (more or less). Of course, it rained shortly after, but they still had fun playing in the hose and soap bubbles:)

I've mentioned before that I don't have a lot of favorites of my own work, hence the reason for these comments and my desire for a wall of your work.

But...I like this one. I don't know why I hold onto the ones I like for such a long time. I guess I don't want to let it go or something.

Vistas over water like this are where I go, literally and not, when I need to get away. I go often to Valdez, Alaska, but only in my mind. To me Valdez will always be the ultimate place to "go" when I escape. There is a rock there. I can see it now. I haven't sat on it for a very long time, but I know it's still there. I can find it in my mind, and I know I could still find it in the real world. When I sit on this rock, the world disappears. Some day I will return. And I will have my camera.

Until then, this is all you get. Deal. ;)

I don't normally post this stuff to Flickr, but it is the archive of my life, and my life is sometimes ridiculous and silly. If you're hear for nature photography, please know that this won't be a frequent occurrence. :)
