Leisure time at Pooley Bridge.

British Museum, London. Awesome

A group of older people were out touring the old market. They were a lot of fun to photograph.

A photo purchased as part of a small collection. No other details given. I suspect this may be Mother (left) and Daughter (right). The Mother is wearing her 'best' coat of a type that were fashionable back then (usually fur or camel) with a nice brooch which is what one did on a trip to the Seaside - wear your best clothes because you were on show. She's also wearing the very 60s Mary Whitehouse style glasses. Unusually this small cracked & creased photo is the only one in colour, where all the other shots are black and white. (Exact location in Margate not given)

Do they not have squirrels in Southern European countries? I ask in all earnestness, as it was seemingly those people getting the most excited about squirrels in the park.

This young man showed tireless patience in trying to get a nervous squirrel to take something from his hand.

Fair play to him, he did it, and danced in jubilation straight afterwards!

Yes, it's true. I bought from this van just because it was fabulous.

A very well charming Thames E83W, it looked great outside York Castle Museum. And the ice cream was a sensible price!

Taken on Saturday at the harbour festival. Luckily, we choose the one day on which the sun didn't seem to be sulking and decided to come out and play.

Nikkor 85mm f/1.8 AF-D

I confess that in all my somewhat limited travels this is the first time I've seen a selfie stick used for an SLR!

End of the day at the beach.. We can see someone had fun making lots of sandcastles to be reclaimed by the sea
