August bank holiday weekend I had another wonderful visit from my dear friend Bella and we had a great time!

 

Saturday daytime in town, a wander around the marina and Humber Street followed by delicious food at the Indoor Market Food Hall.

And she did it. Had a lot of duds on the Gannet photos, but oh my am I pleased with this one. First time I've seen them.

My last week off before going back to work, I went for a day out in York to meet my friend Sarah who was down from Newcastle.

 

What a lovely day out! We had a Yorkshire Pudding wrap for lunch before a wander around a visiting a few bars.

 

York is such a beautiful city!

Red wattled lapwing (Vanellus indicus)chick,taken today at outskirts of NewDelhi.

They are usually very shy&well camouflaged ..I am lucky today ,I got them there morning walk :).
