Dating from 1871 and designed by James Douglass this lighthouse was the worlds first to be powered by ac current as opposed to oil. It was decommissioned in 1988 but is now thankfully in the care of the National Trust.
Incidentally this lighthouse is located at Lizard Point, but because there was another famous lighthouse that already held that name the second choice of Souter had to be used.

"We managed to slip past a couple of raiding groups yesterday. They seem to be multiplying. Luckily we managed to get to one of the maintenance ladders for the upper city. They are always guarded so the raiders shouldn't bother us here. But we may have some issues with the people of the upper city they have a tendency to deal harshly with people like us. And they wonder why we call this place Coin city, two side of the coin."

Eu acho que a cor está bem fiel, mas as vezes fica mais rosinha ou mais lilás dependendo da iluminação. Muito lindo esse esmalte!

Short up date: My mother is with us since Thursday when she left the hospital. She is better but still very weak and she can't walk well.
We took my father's walking frame from my mother's home. Minnie was very interested in it as you can see.

Kurzes Update: meine Mutter ist seit Donnerstag bei uns. Es geht ihr besser, aber sie ist schwach und sehr unsicher beim Gehen. Deshalb haben wir den Rollator von meinem Vater aus ihrer Wohnung geholt. Minnie findet ihn sehr interessant.
Da ich immer noch wenig oder keine Zeit für Flickr habe, habe ich für dieses Bild die Kommentierfunktion ausgeschaltet.
