Large cage in the colo filled with lots of Xserves.

I know you're not supposed to take pictures in the datacenter. Particularly of other people's cages. But, this datacenter doesn't exist anymore so I think it's safe for me to share with you the DSL router arbor that I used to live next to.

I had been fearing applying a firmware update to these two servers for days. In typical IBM style, the fix was extremely frustrating. Non-descriptive error codes and minimal documentation made for a fun three hours -- how I wish these systems were more like their more sensical Dell counterparts racked above! Another photo of the day.

R.I.P. My first Xen server is gone. Replaced with a very powerful KVM/QEMU box.
