During this week within the framework of RISK Change project at RIXC Artists Residency sound artist Ivo Tauriņš and media artists Ieva Vīksne and Līga Vēliņa are recording sounds and videos, collecting data and materials for photogrammetry - to create ideas for new art projects about migration and ecological themes.
The European Data of Tomorrow Conference was both an educating and inspiring event about information,
data and all its relevant, innovative and value-adding aspects. Data of Tomorrow gave attendees a glimpse of the future of Master Data Management (MDM), technology and industry trends – and the tools to shape it. The conference took place on September 20 and 21 in the EYE filmmuseum in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

The things to consider are: 1 – The guy you fired but forgot to disable his remote access, 2 – Espionage/Financial Gain, 3 – Grudge & 4 – Ideology. When you apply strong emotion and any of these points to ANY individual, a risk has been created.
How do you manage this kind of risk? CONTROL user access. Look at what users need to gain access and then centralise their access.
The Unknown Threat
Shared accounts and encrypted communications make it difficult to know which privileged user is doing what, where and when, especially in today’s virtual office environment. Ensure you have tools to MONITOR and RECORD encrypted sessions.

Holy crap!!! Data hog my ass... This is data HORDING! On the flip side, this is a testament to AT&T's network reliability... Throughout those months, I NEVER had ANY connection issues... But, jeebus... I never would have guessed I would have EVER used that amount of data on my phone. Crap!
