3D printed Zabark horns, glued to the head. The resolution seems to be probably high enough to evaluate the design for internal use.
Here's some breakdown photos for all of my lightsaber creations!
A note on Kylo Ren's saber; it uses a red rubberband that I had inadvertently snapped when constructing initial prototypes. I didn't intend to use such a sketchy technique, but it works the best of anything I had tried. I didn't take it out because it is extraordinarily delicate.
I hope you all enjoy these breakdowns, and best of luck building!
Thanks for reading, cheers everyone! :D

This has been an absolute blast to do, one of the rare projects where I play with the actual Lego and dive back into Studio when it’s all done. I think I’ve managed to improve the proportions, the lower half of the ball now looks more rounded, the wings have a very subtle curve, the nose is a bit sleeker with that area in front of the ball slimmed down to something much less bulky.
.
The ship is still solid and swooshable, the droid-dropping feature is gone but there’s still space for a couple of the droids and the cockpit will still hold Maul on his little hovering Sith Vespa thing.
.
Best of all, no extra pieces required 😊

She was a real trooper for posing for me (about 5-10 minutes) while I tried out different shutter speeds, flash settings, etc. I don't like to monopolize any model's time so I was very appreciative of her patience with me. She also had killer tattoos on her leg. ~swoons~
