Shot in the mountains West of Tokyo on a lovely October day in 2023. I loved how the lone Birch tree stood out from all the clutter created by the other trees. For what it is worth, I processed this shot to be a little more painterly. 20231128TheLeader
The famous Lone Tree of Wanaka. Taken at Sunrise as the light creeps down the mountain. The light illuminates all but this tree.
How unusual that the tree survives alone in this large lake

My bluebell tiny planet. Trying to go for a different take on the usual bluebell wood shots.
Thought the pano shot lended itself well to the tiny planet treatment :)
Look closely and you can see a Canada Goose flying in this formation of sandhill cranes. Dare to be different.
The fact that I'm not a perfect circle

The decorative end of a church pew is illuminated by the sun coming in through a stained glass window, making it stand out from the rest of the crowd.
