The International Barbershop singing competition for 2009 was held at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. I have to add that my Dad's chorus won first place this year. Anyhow, between competitors Disneyland's own Barbershop quartet, The Dapper Dans came out and performed. All seven members of the group were there (ummm....I guess there weren't any at Disneyland that night....)
It's not often you find me in a suit. I think the last time was for my sisters wedding about 5 years ago.
It's also not often i find myself clean shaven with short hair.
A long time buddy of mine was married yesterday in a big fat greek/russian/australian wedding.
The little girl who was chosen to play the Deagan Organ Chimes with the Dans on this particular day had been holding a Perry the Platypus plush. So the obvious reaction by Jon and Jim was to also make Perry an honorary Dapper Dan as well. He got to stay in the show during the girl's chime debut, finding himself a temporary home in Dapper Jon's vest pocket.
