This was taken at my Mom’s rose garden ~ and is for all you wonderful mothers.

~ When I was a little girl, I would wake up very early on Mother’s Day and I would run to the backyard, pick the most beautiful rose I could find (usually pink), remove all the thorns and then bring it to my remarkable Mom when she woke up :^)

I think being a Mother is the most courageous, selfless, noble thing a woman can do. The love a Mom has for a child is enduring, forgiving, altruistic. And I am sure Motherhood is the toughest, most demanding and absorbing job a woman will ever have. I never wanted that permanent job for myself – I don’t think it’s for me; I love children, but I am happy just being an auntie and spoiling my nephews and nieces. But oh, I so admire all devoted Mothers out there! Wishing you all a marvelous Mother's Day!╭❀

The quarterfinals of the Aegon Classic WTA tournament held on 19 June 2015 at the Edgbaston Priory Club in Birmingham. Sabine Lisicki (GER) beat Daniela Hantuchova (SVK) 7-6 (7-2 in the tiebreak), 6-2. Hantuchova did not play badly but Lisicki was playing powerfully and overwhelmed her with fast (many over 120mph), deep serves and volleys, particularly in the second set.
