Nel 2004, Scotland Yard indaga su Sizzla perché alcune canzoni incitano alla violenza ed all'omicidio, e gli viene negato l'accesso nella Gran Bretagna. Nello stesso anno, iniziano le proteste delle associazioni LGBT contro i contenuti omofobici, che portano alla rimozione del cantante dagli artisti del concerto MTV Video Music Awards. Nel 2007 i concerti di Toronto e Montréal, nel 2009 i concerti in programma a Bologna e a Bari vengono cancellati per le proteste del pubblico e del movimento LGBT.

Recentemente, Buju Banton, Beenie Man, Sizzla e Capleton, quattro degli artisti dancehall/raggamuffin più famosi in Giamaica e nel mondo, hanno firmato un documento, il "Reggae Compassionate Act", in cui affermano l'impegno nel cessare di divulgare il messaggio omofobico, sia per quanto riguarda le nuove pubblicazioni, sia per la ripubblicazione di canzoni precedenti, contenenti liriche contro gli omosessuali. Il governo giamaicano ha imposto un divieto di trasmettere testi offensivi e violenti nella musica dancehall.

By the same time,GUIDING STAR build a reputation of serious clash sound & get known as a sound killer in France & Europe by many clashs they’ve been performed & won! & also they keep on juggling… They travel nuff times to Jamaica & get occasions to play over there alongside some legendary sounds like Killamanjaro,Metromedia or mandela!

They also played with most of the international top sound systems in Paris:Mighty Crown,L.P.,Massiv-B,Sentinel,Supersonic & many more! In 2009 GUIDING STAR keeping on playing & organizing shows in Paris,france & Europe,ready to spread their vybz & mash up dancefloors all over the world!

Sisterdale Dancehall was built sometime between 1867 and 1884. Permanent settlement on the site dates back to the mid 1800's. The property has some of the oldest buildings in Sisterdale. The stone block Fort pre-dates the Civil War. Open gun ports line the foot-thick fortified stone walls. These narrow and angled cut stone openings allowed gunmen a wide range of motion to fight off an Indian attack, and reduced the number of incoming arrows or gunshots. The same design was used in European Medieval castles.

In its early years, the Dancehall was an Opera House, dancehall and community center. Later, it became a full-time dancehall with a community grocery store and post office next door. The Dancehall was the center of musical life for the community. Music of all kinds flooded the Dancehall during its long life-classical opera, folk, rock, Tejano, Americana and country music.

Famous artists performed at the Sisterdale Dancehall over the years. Our Dancehall has been a movie location, and it hosted George Strait in a Bud Light commercial. Brooks and Dunn used our Dancehall while filming their classic hit song, Red Dirt Road.
