One of the reasons why Angkor is a world famous UNESCO heritage, is because of the hundreds of thousands of stone carvings you find here. They're unique in their own way as each of them tells a story about the daily life of the people who lived under the Khmer Empire, 800 years ago. I found it extremely weird to be walking around in old temples where the architecture beats a lot of the worlds finest architecture to this date.
