Nach rund einem Jahr Pandemie geht mir das Virus so langsam auf den Puffer. Und da es wohl - auf absehbare Zeit - nicht wirklich möglich sein wird, Freunde zu treffen, müssen wir das virtuell machen.

After about a year of the pandemic, the virus is starting to get on my nerves. And since it probably won't really be possible - for the foreseeable future - to meet friends, we'll have to do it virtually.

In a village In Deemawsoe Township in the Kayah State, Myanmar.
Also know as Kayan (and in English as 'longnecks' because of the brass coils on their necks.) Padaung is a Shan word meaning 'wearing gold'. Over time the rings lower the womens' collarbones and rib cage which has the effect of making their necks appear long. These days the coils are made of brass and are very heavy. They can be taken off at night. The younger Padaung women are choosing not to wear coils.
... analogue would be an alternative ;-)
