TRUE STORY
I was not feeling it today...I literally had nothing in mind at all to draw and didn't really want to and almost said screw it....but didn't. So I feel like I accomplished something.
Boring portrait...but I wanted to scribble and color.
The downfall of John (also Alex actually). I like this better flipped, but can't flip it. Because He's not symmetrical.
It's been a while, but I did an art! I'm going to try to get back to doing the drawing-a-day again. I might do a few before finishing my comic (I have every intention in getting it done! Cause I wouldn't mind trying some more.)
So have a John. Hopefully it looks ok, I swear I can't do anything on my laptop.

Two arts!!! Because this took me like, 5 minutes (I did it in a sketchbook omg)
It takes John literal hours to wake up enough to be functional. he's a terrible morning person.
And I cannot get his hair any messier than it normally is. I tried. He has permanent bed-head.

Ugh. You know how you draw a bunch of things and none of them turn out? That was me today.
BUT then I managed this, and I really like it, so I guess it's a good thing. I don't do many dynamic poses, because they're hard, and I don't have time to figure them out, but this worked out easy. I'm kind of surprised!
well, I had issues with the hands, and had to kind of contort to get picture of mine so I could get them right. But other than that, easy.
Of course after the contorting, and lots of erasing, I got them to where i thought they didn't suck, and then covered them up with magic. Because John.
Decided to start a new daily doodle project inspired by some amazing daily doodle projects i've been seeing lately :)
First up, Mike, Scully and Boo! Who else is excited for the sequel? Heck, i sure am!

Spent a good solid 2 hours on this sketch today, but well worth it. Been wanting to draw Cheshire cat and the Rabbit for a looonngg time. This daily doodle project is perfect for such things as kicking my ass to stop being lazy :P

Here's today's daily doodle; Catbus! My neighbour Totoro is def. my favourite Ghibli film. I always thought the Catbus was kinda creepy (in a good..giant..cat..creepy..way?) weeee.
