Almost didn't do this. At all. I had the hardest time drawing anything.....but here you go. Faster than usual arts.
It bugs me that I changed the blue of the text balloons (Which I stole off the internets) but it was hard to read. Still is.....

Late today because I was busy all day....but I got it done.
I just like to give him crazy expressions.

This is not at all what I was planning to do but I had no choice.
John has what he hopes is a positive message for World Mental Health day.
I made my own watercolors over the weekend to use as texture! No more free ones off the inter webs!! I'm going to do a bunch of them. Someday. They take up space and time since they also take an eternity to dry omg. I get to sit around watching paint dry. Is not as fun as it sounds....
Maybe because it's October...but John's gone creepy.
Also, I really like the way I've been coloring things lately. It's possible I've found a style finally.
You know when you put clothes on a cat and they turn into a limp pile of rags, fall over and can't move from the absolute horror of wearing clothes? That's John right now.
I think if you nudge him he'd just collapse. BUT HE'S SO FLUFFY!!
LAST ONE I swear I'll get him into normal clothes again!

I should practice writing, so far I have no big events or plans for November so I might actually get to Nano, which would mean possibly writing about John. So practicing would be a good idea.....

Times like this I wish I liked prompts. I never find any I really want to do....or I can never think of anything for the themes. I have no idea. I should try them out for when i'm stuck sometime.

Well this almost didn't happen. And it was not at all what I meant it to be, but after starting about 37 drawings and getting none of them even past sad sketch phase....I'm happy to have something.
Felt like drawing a happy John with an actual smile for a change.
As opposed to his sometimes scary smile he has...
I'm stuck on the blanket.
The doll needs one now.
Also, I really like having his legs showing rather than arms....no tattoos on his legs. YAY
