It's raining here in Daet, Camarines Norte the whole day.. so we weren't able to get a good opportunity to shoot in Bagasbas beach.. too bad, today is the opening for an international surfing competition... and everything's dark and cloudy!
Fortunately, there's still this little fella to shoot!. now, I'm satisfied!... sorry, I'm that shallow!..lol..

i am not a night shooter and i am not aspiring to be one. but this didn't turn out so badly so i thought i'd share it anyway. after all, it's not always i'll get a chance to shoot a beach scene at night. so here it is - taken at Bagasbas Beach, Daet, Camarines Norte (Philippines) where i was treated by fellow Fickrites to dinner by the ocean, with bonfire and all. thanks for the shooting tips, Elmer, aka Soul101

aking tatay ikaw ay mag-ingat
sa pamamalakaya diyan sa dagat
kapag nakahuli ka na ng sapat
sa pampang ay bumalik kagyat.
sa dako roon ang alon ay malakas
bangkang maliit baka ay ihampas
at mapatama sa bahurang matalas
ay naku baka ito ay magkabutas.
kung kaya ko nga lang sana
na sa iyo sa laot ay sumama
kahit paano may katulong ka
sa iyong pamamalakaya.
subalit munti kong katawan
baka alon ay di makayanan
at magkandahilo po lamang
baka sa bayain walang mailaman.
