About

Taken from the recent meet up EB at Bicol to welcome the arrival of our very own Ms. Virgie a.k.a. Imago2007. This was taken at the famous Bagasbas Beach in Daet, Camarines Norte.

Daet is a famous surfing spot among surfers worldwide especially its long stretch of beach in Bagasbas. Because of the attention it has gotten from the international surfing community, the Philippine Department of Tourism turned it into an internationally-accredited surfing spot.

Aside from being a surfing spot, the Calaguas group of islands to its north has garnered attention from local and foreign tourists alike. The islands can be considered virgin since no resorts have been created there yet.

After two days of rain that brought chaos in our itenerary.. the sun finally smiled on us and gave us a magnificent sunset on our way back to Manila... we rushed back to Bagasbas beach to catch the sunset and it was a most welcome send away gift!

"Watching the sun rise over the ocean is making it easy for me to wake up and get out of bed. I'm not jumping up to take a shower or go to work. I'm jumping up to greet the majesty of the day, of God, of me. The majesty reminds me that God's in his heaven ... and so am I. And, heaven is a lovely place to start the day, a lovely place to live." -Jan Denise
