Panorama. Constructed from 6 vertical images, stitched in Microsoft ICE.
Filming Location Daenerys Dothraki Wedding Game of Thrones. Also Locations for Clash of the Titans and The Count of Monte Cristo.
Taken on the28/12/2011 at 16:18:54Hrs GMT using a Nikon D3100 camera with an AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR+ a 52mm UV Filter.
On the island of Gozo in Malta, The Azure Window is a natural arch located near the village of Dwejra. This landmark was created thousands of years ago when two limestone caves collapsed. This photograph was taken in Dec 2011 & apparently in April 2012 there was a further collapse, which has significantly, changed the view.

Alright, this is the full but b&w monochrome version of part 7 of the "lost gorge series".
I think it is less overpowering and now features the many details (and errors) and gives a more spacious impression of the place. I like these patchy gradients that occur when the number of layers in the canopy changes, and the leaves go from radiant white to grey.
It's really cool to be able to capture such a wide view with relatively little distortion. Obviously I can go 360° with this setup if I want, but the vertical angle is massive too. Between the top and bottom row, I have 90° using 24mm on DX in portrait orientation.
If that's not too telling, perhaps a more every day example is: the bottom row captures the end of the tripod feet, so 150?, 160°?.
The stream makes just a slight bend here, most of which you can see in the pano is due to the wide horizontal angle (maybe around 240°) and also due to being in the lower part of the panorama.
Technically it's a 33 piece mercator projection, ~341,5MP trimmed with 22139 x 15427px.

Introducing the Imperial F-DX Courier Shuttle, designed to provide necessary cargo and supplies to the front line troops.
A co-production between Cygnus and Sienar, this lightly armed but well armoured and shielded shuttle is capable of withstanding heavy fire in contested arena's. Built for the Eurobricks May 4th competition I've wanted to build a Star Wars ship for some time. No visible studs and trying out new techniques was my goal and I believe i've achieved that!

It’s a pleasant surprise to find out that my Tokina DX (crop sensor) 11-16mm lens can cover the sensors on my full frame Sony’s….at 16mm, there is no vignetting and it is sharp corner to corner! Close focuses to about 9 inches. Tokina really over-engineered this APS-C lens to provide great performance outside the APS-C sensor….and yes, its great on my APS-C Sony’s as well. No bigger than my 20mm f1.8 Viltrox (another amazingly sharp lens).
