Let's make this gallery blush a bit. Notice that you could also get blushed. It happens...
Infatti mi trovavo a 1400 mt s.l.m.
I don't know who, reading the title, has recognized the words of "One more light", a song by Linkin Park. The title of the song is the homonym of the last album with the beautiful voice of Chester Bennington, who died suicide on July 20th.
The lyrics are very nice, I leave the link to listen to it on YouTube: youtu.be/Tm8LGxTLtQk
Well! Now let's talk about this shot completely different from the usual one. It had been a long time since I wanted to try to photograph the stars. Finally last night the opportunity came: perfect weather (more or less) at the same time with the new moon, because to photograph the celestial vault there mustn't be the moon. I chose a very dark location, with no light pollution. In fact I was at 1400 mt. I have to
say that the snow was a great blow of luck: it accentuated the landscape that otherwise would have seemed too dark.
Finally, to get this result, I've read a lot of articles on how to photograph the stars and a big thanks goes to www.flickr.com/photos/lucamargoni/with/15885269483/ that helped me by giving me some tips.

Buone fotografie a tutti!!
Yesterday I had the opportunity to test better both the camera and the lens.
These little waterfalls are the same as my previous shot, loaded a while ago. The waterfalls are not beautiful - they fill only when it rains - but they are still a good start to make some long exposure. Now that I have the DSLR instead, I will definitely go back to the Valimpach Falls.
Here I used my old smartphone tripod, though it is not perfect (you can not lift it because it does not endure the weight of the camera), it did its job. To create the long exposure (which is only 1/2 second) I closed the aperture and lowered the ISO. The slight under-exposure is voluntarily want...
Good pictures at all!!

The smell of the rain wakes up and starts running all over the city, like a playful kid. The scent runs and runs and goes through the buildings, through the windows, through the memories, through the dreams of those who remember themselves playing in the rain, splashing the light, cheating time.

At the same time. On the same rhythm. With the same movement, all of them start getting undressed, diving into winter. Meanwhile, we, bored humans, do the opposite: we get overdressed and hurry into our houses, leaving this magnificent spectacle to the wind, and the spirits of the woods, and some sleepless squirrel.
Macro scattata alla manifestazione denominata "Brescia in Fiore", Piazza del Duomo - Brescia, mano libera, no flash, sviluppo RAW con Capture ( Nikon Software ) .

In front of me, there was an espectacular lake in the middle of the mountains. However, what grabbed my attention was this little plant and the swarm of lights around. It's a matter of choices. That's the beauty of every moment.
They sleep during the winter, far away from each other. But spring will come again and they hadn't forgotten how they used to be together, during the Math class...

Every line tells a story. Every curve holds a secret. Empires that rose and fell between the nerves of nature. Look closer: don't you see all the past down there? The pyramids, the Greek temples, the shadows of the Middle Age, the whirlwind of the Renaissance... Don't you see all the ancient stories sleeping in there?
Miami photographed from Key Biscayne - Florida
When I shot Miami's skyline last week I created two images from the long-exposure photos I took. One was Miami. Urban Fantasy. and this is the other one. The technical specifications are on the former one. This image in particular would require a whole webinar to explain what I did. Too long. Perhaps some time in the future... For now, I just share the colorful creation in line with the always spectacular city's unique atmosphere.
This image is significantly reduced from its original work for web viewing purpose only.
