In the old and small town of Tarazona (Aragón) has many old buildings but they're still in use. It's like a film set.
A classical set of 4020 EMU of ÖBB is just approaching Tulln an der Donau towards St. Pölten as an S40 train. Unfortunately less and less operate of these units because of the continues arrivals of brand new Desiro ML sets, but Tulln/Stadt and St. Pölten is still served mostly by these trains.
This kinda reminded me of some weird Hobbit or Lord of the Rings type of scenario - Imagination is wonderful...

Right behind me while I took this photo was Godafoss, which is one of most famous waterfalls in iceland. It is absolutely amazing, but I feel that it's so easy to get distracted by one big feature and miss all of the other amazing ones that surround you. Ultimately my favorite photo at this location ending up being in the complete opposite direction of where everyone else was looking.

When I go on holiday, as well as getting some nice shots to set the scene, but I also like to get some shots of the local people. Come to think of it, even in London I still try and get the odd portraiture shot. I think I prefer the travel photography though, at least that way I get to fly around the world.
I was walking through a square in Marrakech, just outside the main souks. I saw this man in the shadows in the corner and I loved how the latticework shadows were falling across him. I got on the telephoto lens and snapped a few shots from the other side of the square. He's looking directly at me in this shot, but I'm not too sure if he knew I was actually taking his photo, as I was quite far away.
This really needs to be seen large, as the shadows look a bit confusing otherwise. Try it and see for yourself!
