Got close and personal to a very vintage movie projector. It was the first time I've ever seen one of these devices and I loved the look of it! It would be cool to have one of these on display and even luckier if I used it for its purpose. It's a purchase I'll definitely revisit in the future.

Purple Martin (Progne subis)
So many birds yet to discover. I found these at Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge in Galloway, NJ.The largest of the Swallows and it's deep purple color, they are a sight to see.
The castle Romrod is a castle arrangement in Romrod near Alsfeld in theVogelsbergkreis in Hessen. The arrangement decreases to an older water castle of Messrs. von Romrod which originated probably in the 12th century. Later she fell to the landgraves of Hesse-Darmstadt who allowed to alter the castle to a hunting seat.
The first documentary mention Romrods is given from 1197 when in a document of the cloister of Fulda under abbot Heinrich III. of Kronberg Ludwig of Rumerot appears as a witness of a manors transference. The ministerial gender presumably belonged to the followers of the landgraves of Thuringia, however, is testified also in the Fuldaer sphere.

Rogie Falls are a series of waterfalls on the Black Water, a river in Ross-shire in the Highlands of Scotland. The falls are about 2 km north-west of the village of Contin, next to the A835 road. They are a popular tourist attraction, with several forest walks.

Last month i was going to visit a friend in Whitby, i stopped on the moors, but first near a fence, there were few green flowering bushes and this dude (don't think he's a butterfly, too ugly and hairy lol).
i only had my stock 18-55mm lens, i got close to take a snap of him, he fluttered away, i was leaving and saw him comming back for the same flower he was on. i thought you like this flower ha! well!, you'll have to do with me :D and i stood at the bush. at first he was coming but when i point the camera and get close, he would leave, but eventually he gave up and started enjoying posing and pulling his tong out lol. i took few shots from different angles, sometimes the lens nearly touching him .
wish the light was as tame! ( it was cloudy with the sun in and out where i had to keep adjusting exposure!
Okay, I'm not sure it was morning and misty is a bit of an understatement but I think you get the picture.

Almost no activity during the early afternoon at the while visitors to the fair view a variety of farm animals and 4H projects. In the evening this area will be slammed.

Die Rückfahrt der 4 Tages Tour war vom Licht her nur noch in Braschwitz einigermaßen möglich. Aber auch dort ist das Licht um 12:19 Uhr für Züge aus Richtung Süden schon suboptimal. Na ja, wenigstens huschte der Mastschatten exakt zwischen Lok und ersten Wagen :-) Da die Lok mir aber noch in meiner Sammlung gefehlt hatte, galt das Motto: "erst mal haben!"

Almost two months ago Jerry tagged me for the 9 things plague.
1. I hate opening up the Pillsbury canisters of biscuits and dessert rolls. I can't stand how they pop!
2. When I was twelve I developed my first celebrity crush -- on Bill Pullman. *dies from the embarrassment of admitting that*
3. I resent how attention-hogging games like FF and WoW are, even though I know I should resent the people, and not the game.
4. I was considered obese when I was eleven, but that didn't stop me from winning second place in a mile bike race that summer. (And I did it again the summer after!)
5. My maiden last name is a horrible Polish one.
6. I have never been on an airplane.
7. Sometimes I miss Pittsburgh so bad that I cry.
8. I cry when I'm stressed or angry.
9. My contacts are monthly disposables, but I usually wear them for an extra 2-3 days.
