A Supporter of former Uganda's Presidential Candidate and opposition leader Kiiza Besigye is seen downing a dring while displaying his portrait 15th March,2016.Officials and party members of the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC),Uganda’s main Opposition party have launched a "Free my Vote" campaign that includes praying every Tuesday around the country from different party offices.
They also started mourning by dressing in black with writings “I can’t breathe”, a message to the ruling Government to release their leader Col. Dr Kiiza Besigye who has been under house arrest since the February 18th Presidential elections.
Party spokesperson Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda recently said, they will be holding prayers at different party offices to pray for Uganda that he claimed continues to be held hostage by President Yoweri Museveni who was declared winner of the highly contested February 18 presidential elections
Among those present for the Tuesday prayers were the party president Maj Gen Mugisha Muntu, Kawempe south elect MP Mubarak Munyagwa, FDC mobiliser Ms Ingrid Turinawe and the party national chairman Ambassador Wasswa Birigwa.Photo by Ronald Kabuubi/KMA
