Back of the dress ... you can see the straps criss crossing.
Love how the border print turned out on the skirt.
I found this dress at a consignment shop, and it's missing the tag so I don't know the brand or the size. I'd guess it's a small, and it's really comfy!
Makeover by Amy of Just You, Las Vegas. Took photos in two different outfits including this red dress afterwards. It was a great experience!

I made this little dress and bloomer set for my friend Sarah, whose baby girl is due in August. I added ruffles to the bloomers, because who doesn’t love a ruffle butt on a baby girl? ;-). I picked up the yellow fabric from the remnant table at Joann’s a few weeks ago. I had exactly enough fabric! I think I need to start working more with actual apparel cottons rather than quilting cottons – quilting cottons get crushed so easily! (I didn’t get time to take a photo of the dress before I left for the baby shower, so I took these shots after I arrived, but they had got crushed in the meantime :().
Same basic design as hemp dress in a softer yarn. This is 65% Silk 35% Linen by Anzula. The collar is a little smaller.

Cynthia Steffe Pleated Skirt Ponte Dress
This is a gorgeous custom made dress (actually, skirt + top if I'm being technical!) commissioned from Kalicia, based off of Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland. Love this dress to bits, but I'm trying to save up for a Lati yellow...Great quality & condition, only worn a few times then stored away. Chiffon + cotton.
Extra Pics from Kalicia, my pic doesn't do the dress any justice ^^; The colors are more accurate, too.

I made a new dress for Mila with a vintage fabric!

I finished this dress in April 2012. I used Butterick pattern 5322 view C for the bodice of this dress and the skirt is Simplicity pattern 2758, view C. I had a cut out the pieces before I realised that the skirt is supposed to have a side zip and the dress a back zip, so it took a bit of fiddling to give the skirt a back zip. I love how this has turned out and plan to use this bodice pattern again for a dress with a pleated skirt. The fabrick is from the Alannah Hill outlet store in Brunswick st, Fitzroy, Melbourne. Love it, will be going there again!
High school's winding down and she's realizing the last this and the last that. "It's the last high school dance." Here's my beautiful daughter B in the prom dress she just returned with from the store. There are so many wonderful firsts awaiting her.
